Every time I look into the windows
Interactive Immersive Installation

Inspired by the experience of looking into the windows of tall apartments in New York City, this immersive interactive installation allows the audience to envision surfing through the cityscape at night. Using coding, videos, and projection mapping, the piece offers a glimpse into the intimate, often isolated thoughts of the people within these windows. It creates a reflective, surreal journey through the city, exploring themes of connection, solitude, and fleeting moments.
The installation integrates distance sensors, webcam real-time feedback, and eye-blink detection to create an interactive environment.
As the audience approaches, the installation activates, triggering flying videos (memories) on the screen. Their movements are reflected in the videos, leaving a transient shape that is erased by subsequent videos or new movements. A random audio track, speaking words of emotion, plays when the audience blinks. The 2-minute experience culminates as glitching buildings erase everything.
